Four days that pair Ha Giang's icons, Quan Ba Heaven Gate, Ma Pi Leng and Lung Cu, with the heritage layers most riders pass by: the H'mong hamlet of Sao Ha, the Lo Lo houses of Lo Lo Chai, a 500-year-old tree in Thien Huong, and a lazy afternoon at Ban Ang Stream.
The extra day is the whole point. It gives you time to drift down the Nho Que River by boat, walk into Lung Khuy Cave, sit with the weavers of Lung Tam, and reach each viewpoint when the light is right, all in a group of no more than ten led by riders who grew up on these roads.

Arrive in Ha Giang, check in, and rest overnight before the first day of the journey begins.

Spend time at Ban Ang Stream, where the group can enjoy a unique bamboo-raft and rope-pulling experience in a peaceful natural setting. Lunch is served by the stream, letting you slow down and enjoy the landscape in a different rhythm. From April to October, guests may want to bring swimwear or clothes suitable for water activities.

The fourth day is what sets this route apart. It buys you a lazy morning at Ban Ang Stream, time inside Lung Khuy Cave, and space to reach each village without watching the clock.
STAYS & MEALS
Good beds and home-cooked dinners
You sleep close to the route every night, in warm, local places we know well and eat well in. Both a private room and a dorm bed are available on every night of the tour.
On Dong Van nights you stay at Serenity Dong Van House, our own place in the heart of the old town. Rooms are private and self-contained, finished in local highland style, with the old quarter's streets and cafes a minute from the door.
On other nights you sleep in a family homestay in villages like Meo Vac or Pa Vi. The rooms are simple and the welcome is warm, and dinner is whatever the family cooked, shared around a low table.
Expect to eat well and local. Mornings start with Ha Giang banh cuon in warm broth, and dinners bring dishes like black chicken hotpot, mountain pork and men men, rounded off with a glass of corn wine.

What to know before your 4D3N tour
The four-day tour includes more time for Lung Khuy Cave, Lung Tam Village and longer stops along the loop. Each day follows a more comfortable pace with less pressure to move on quickly.
Yes. Solo travelers can join a small group and choose an Easy Rider. Shared experiences on the road and evenings at the homestays make it easy to meet the other travelers.
Yes. Four days gives you more time to experience Ha Giang without rushing from one stop to the next. You’ll have time for the mountain roads, villages, viewpoints and everyday moments along the way, rather than spending most of the trip simply trying to cover the Loop.
Several hours, but not continuously. We stop throughout the day for viewpoints, villages, meals, coffee and places worth exploring on foot. The ride itself is also a big part of Ha Giang: crossing mountain passes, following roads above deep valleys and passing through small villages along the way.
That isn’t the focus of Serenity Ha Giang. We travel in small groups and want the evenings to feel social without turning the whole journey into a party. There can still be shared dinners, drinks, music and plenty of laughs, but the mountains, local culture and people of Ha Giang remain at the heart of the trip.
Pack light. Bring comfortable clothes, a warm layer, rain protection, sunscreen, suitable shoes and a small bag for your daily essentials. Mountain temperatures can change considerably between daytime and evening, so layers are more useful than bringing lots of clothes.
